I have a G400 in my ork Linux box but do not use TV out.

Last I heard TV out was not supported by the Matrox drivers under
Linux (it works under GameOS quite nicely).

I hear (via google) that you can achieve TV out with Linux using an
unofficial reverse-engineered frame-buffer driver for the G400.
Haven't tried yet.
