I don't know about RH but Mandrake has a utility called urpmi, it will work
out what dependencies are required and then inform you what they are and ask
if it is ok to install them.

A feature of it that I like is you can even do a 'urpmi libc.so.x.??' it
will then find what package that file is part of.

If you ran 'urpmi dhcp' it informs you that there are several packages
containing dhcp, you then work out which one you need.
