Yeah, forgot about that, I would still plug it into a dedicated card on the
linux box so it can do the firewall/gateway stuff. I have client's that plug
it into switch and won't be convinced to do otherwise. "We haven't got any
valuable information on our network so it doesn't matter".
Does anyone want them as their clients? They are more trouble than they are
worth. If you want to put up with a client that asks you for your
professional advice, doesn't listen to you, then complain "We paid you and
now everything is going to pot", then you are welcome to them. I just wish
they would stop calling!!!!!

Yeah I use a DSL-300 as well and I KNOW it uses a straight RJ-RJ cable,
that's why I asked about the Acatel one in case it didn't.
