Just so everybody is clear. Tony and I are actually discussing two
seperate things, and there is some confusion at times. There is the
cluster project, and there is my desperate need for a second box at home to
do network testing for my open source project. While I am involved in the
cluster project, I walk to HUMBUG meetings with my computer in my backpack,
so I will be unable to drag an extra four PC's with me to meetings. The
box I require for testing will remain at home.
The cluster project requires 4 PC's, but someone else will need to do their
dragging. I'll be happy to be in charge of cluster programming, or just be
another cluster programmer, and I would be more than happy to setup the
cluster at every meeting. I'm just not physically capable of transporting
the cluster.
Tony, if you wish to donate your PC to me for testing drop it of at the
next meeting, and no doubt you will be driving me home again, so I can get
it home. If you wish to donate it to the cluster, then you will have to
wait until we have an official cluster transporter person.
