The CD's are from APC magazine if that makes any difference.
Here is what the /etc/apt/sources.list has in it:
#deb cdrom:[apc cd3 debian 3.0r1]/ pool/
#deb cdrom:[Debian GNU/Linux 3.0 r1 _Woody_ - Official i386 Binary-1
(20021218)]/ unstable contrib main non-US/contrib non-US
/main
deb ftp://ftp.au.debian.org/debian/ stable main
deb-src ftp://ftp.au.debian.org/debian/ stable main
deb http://non-us.debian.org/debian-non-US stable/non-US main
deb-src http://non-us.debian.org/debian-non-US stable/non-US main
deb http://security.debian.org/ stable/updates main
deb http://security.debian.org/ stable/updates main contrib non-free
I added the last line and commented out the 1st two lines.
The machine is shutdown now so I can't try anything more
until tomorrow night after work. It's in my son's bedroom
and was keeping him awake! I'll make room for it in the
cupboard with the RH7.3 box tomorrow and try again. I can
SSH into it so at least that's something I guess! :-)
