G'day All,
thank you so much for all the advice and help.
I have Gimp up and running rumming [no sweat under Debian] but could not
work out how to get rid of the pallet that blocked 1/2 the picture!
Thankyou Snowy for showing me how!
I will either upgrade to Firebird of 'do' Galleon [or both, Robert?]
All this fiddling has finally flushed out my apathy towards writing a
web page. It has begun, once more!!!

No, the Humbug visiting Bedford has not been consigned to the scrap yard
