Microsoft claim that under NT4, NTFS filesystems have a file and volume size
limit of 2^64 bytes (16 exabyte). We routinely play around with Oracle
database files up to 30GB on NTFS partitions.

There is a 2GB partition limit under DOS and Win9x, but 4GB under NT4 for FAT
filesystems. And, just in case anyone is interested, Win2k supports FAT32
volumes up to 8 terabyte, but M$ supplied tools won't format a volume larger
than 32 gigabyte in FAT32.
