I was pilfering around and noticed some talk of apples precomiled header
stuff working on Linux
http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc/2002-07/msg01453.html

Anyone played with this? I am a little dubious about using their tree
(and parallel installing yet another version of gcc) for projects as
apposed to for example the mainline redhat gcc3.2 (with typical patch
swag that is attached to that srpm).

Also wondering if folks have used icc6 or other C++ compilers with
precompiled headers and have comments.
