Well as my first preference was for the iBook, at James suggestion I rang 
infinate systems (google's great :) and asked them to price a system.  The 
end result was a about $200 difference, so I've decided to go for the iBook 
after all.  The big win was a drop in the price of the extra memory from 
$715 to $295!  Not a bad discount personally ;).

Anyway thanks for the advice and I expect to be very happy with my new toy 
(hope to be able to pick it up tommorrow).
