hi,
i've got a bit of a problem, i have to set up a web server inside my
network that should be reachable outside the network from the internet.
so i have to configure dns properly to resolve my domain name to the
proper ip address of my router, which in turn will forward the packets to
my web server. now the server is all set up and forwarding will be
enabled by the isp soon, but the problem is, how do i let the rest of the
internet know about my name server and the ip address of my router?
i've tried changing the dns information with the registra for the domain,
but they do no allow to use ip addresses, and only let hostnames to be
used.
thanks in advance
igor
