i'm very fond of my microsoft ergonomic mouse with scroll wheel. i had a
microsoft ergonomic type I mouse for years, serial. I gave it to a friend
when I got this PS2 version that has a scroll wheel. It's a few years old
and the ball isn't as round as it used to be. I have to clean it regularly
but I love the feel of it. I find that my hands cramp when using a logitech
mouse as the design is too 'sleek'. I suppose tho that the average PC user
probably wasn't using a chunky apple mouse at the age of 7 (not a brag,
just an observation) during school classes. I sort of got used to a mouse
being at least as large as the palm of my hand, and I don't have small
hands, particularly for a girl. I also like a certain weight in my hand
when using a mouse. We have MS intellieye explorer at work and I'm not too
keen on the shape of those either. The only reasons we have them is they
are an ambidextrous mouse, and they're cheap.

As for quake, would anyone care to do a talk on getting it set up? And are
you talking quake 1/2 which I have for Windohs, or are you talking trying
to buy a copy of Q3A for linux? Also, is anyone besides me looking forward
to Bioware's linux client for Neverwinter Nights?

Sandra.
