First, an apology, I assumed you were speaking of Telstra ADSL, not dialup,
my bad.

Secondly, The modem you speak of is a Controllerless modem, or winmodem, Up
until recently there were no drivers(as far as I'm concerned, as I spent
long hours searching for them) but finally Conexant must have seen the
demand for them, and produced them, so bring up your favourite search engine
and start looking - Because they are there, and I can Guarantee they work(I
have used them) One note to watch out for, there are two different types of
Controllerless Conexants, there is the HSF and the HCF, I COULD NOT get the
HSF driver to run my HSF modem, but I found the HCF drivers[1] ran it
without a hitch(for many months :)).

Thanks mate, hope all goes well with them.

   Joe Skilton

1: This was only in my case, I recommend trying both.
