I did, got dizzy, and nearly fell down. What does it all mean?

I want the local users to be visible so can I use 'Sendmail-style' format
even though I am using postfix? The reason I ask this is because of this:
'Local (i.e. non-virtual) usernames are not visible in a Postfix-style
virtual domain.'

Or could I configure /etc/postfix/virtual like this:
userA at 4ward.com.au billy at localhost.4ward.bogus

The other confusing part:
The virtual.domain anything entry is required for a Post-fix-style
virtual domain.

Does that mean I have a line that says
'4ward.com.au anything' or am I supposed to replace the 'anything' part
with something else? If so, what?

Do I have run edit the /etc/postfix/virtual file and then run the
'postmap /etc/postfix/virtual' command?

Does anyone have anything that explains this stuff more clearly, quickly
before my head explodes.

Regards
Harry
