Even since the changes I made recommended by some people here, Exim is still
losing my mail. It only happens when fetchmail suddenly delivers heaps and
heaps like when I first turn my server on. Once this first flood of mail is
gone it works okay. This is the error message people get bounced...

The incoming copy of exim only feeds mail to mailscanner's spool. Mailscanner
then delivers it. Thus mailscanner doesn't seem to come into it because the
mail is dropping before it gets there. Anyone got any more ideas? Thanks,
David
