Cool.  However, these (or other) changes didn't seem to work :-(

(mozilla 1.01, lastest update version on a rh7.2 box... does mozilla
need to be restarted to make changes to userContent.css effective?)

I assume this is the file that needs hacking:
	~/.mozilla/default/<random>.slt/US/chrome/userContent.css

And for galeon (which I also tend to use):
	~/.galeon/mozilla/galeon/US/chrome/userContent.css

Any more clues?  It would be oh so useful to be able to read the kb
pages :)
