But the Statement "In my experience" straight away tells you that he is
talking about situations in which HE has been involved in.
So therefore he is saying that it is mandatory IN HIS EXPERIENCE. Which
tells you straight away that in a different situation it may not be
mandatory.
He never said that it's mandatory for everyone, so therefore your argument
is void.

Lets look at two sentences:

1: "Reinstalling windows every month is mandatory."
2: "My experience with Windows is that a reinstall once a month is
mandatory."

Do you see the difference?? The top sentence is saying what you have replied
to, that it's mandatory for EVERY person.
The bottom one is simply saying that whenever I have used windows it was
mandatory for me to reinstall it every month.

I think your ignorant because of your knee-jerk reaction to what he said,
maybe reading it properly next time will avoid this confrontation??
