Has anyone successfully got a Mandrake system up and going with only the 
first cd? I found too many packages were missing and I was sorely missing 
apt-get after about 5 minutes of wrestling with rpm. I wanted to use 
mandrakeupdate but my resolution of 640x480 didn't really allow me to 
change any options in control-panel so that i could see the entire window. 
i ended up wishing maximise behaviour was the same as in windows.

I guess I'll just wait until my netstats go down again from downloading the 
cd1 iso so that I can download cd2.
