I'm using Ximian Evolution (the mail reader).
I use their Red Carpet install/update tool. You can install as little or
as much as you like. Just take care on your first install, to select the
right options/files... that you don't zap your whole desktop into
XimianGNOME-hood ;-)

Hum an update via Planet Mirror Australia didn't work this arv.
Just go to www.ximian.com, download the install tool, and work from
there.

Ah so you want the GNOME stuff too... if you do the whole desktop, your
entire desktop will look different. Just so you know ;-)
Anyway, I rather like Evolution. I use it on IMAP folders though, so my
mail is stored app-independent.
