Hi all. Remember the ed discussion? :) One of the hot topics was "why
would I use ed, I've got vi". We'll I've got a new one for you :)

You've all seen my thread on adsl & lockups. Well guess what, ed turns
out to be the best way to edit the files. Because of the fragmentation
issue viewing a file with vi, more or less was impractable (as it
invariably caused the session to lockup). Cat & grep were ok but a bit
annoying to use in the long term. Ed did nicely to let me look inside
files - 1 line at a time so I didn'y trigger the nasty problem I've been
seeing :)

Anyway, thought this was a nice side issue to show how even the oldest
tools still have their place :)

Cheers,
	Rob
