G'day All
At the last Humbug meeting I experimented a bit unwisely with the bios
- to the extent that no programming can be absorbed by it any longer.
Not in any way
- at all.
You name it, we have tried it.
Yep, even the ‘hot swop' off another working mobo!

I know that all who had a go at fixing what I broke, taught me a little bit more
about the important parts of what can and cannot [or should not] be done with a
bios!
So -
Thank you Simon, Vince, Stephen, Hilton, and Snowy [for the previous lesson -
the one that worked] Thanks for all the time you gave me - and your patience!

Now, on to other things

Does any one have a working Socket Super 7 Mobo they can sell me?
One that is suitable for Linux - i.e. not another PC Chips 100!

I have an AMD 300 cpu for it.
Though I have not yet tested it to see if it too got cooked up while we were
experimenting with all those different mobo's, on Wednesday evening!

But - all the other trimmings are ok - I have plenty of ram and hdd.

Cheers Tony
