Macs used a variety of RAM. If you're looking for types of ram, check
out http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/

Some of the Macs, in particular the early PowerMacs, used 5v 168pin
DIMMs.

Which takes me off on another tangent. I have a dual processor Pentium
Pro motherboard (the old meesha.humbug.org.au) which is missing two
Pentium Pro processors, and some _5v_ 168pin DIMM (B{0,1}EDO|FPM) style
ram. This kind of ram was used in the early PowerMacs.

The motherboard itself only saw about 1 1/2 years of use before the
powersupply melted the ram sticks and destroyed a perfectly good video
card. I'm looking to possibly bring it back to life as it'd make a good
cupboard box.

Does anyone have a spare PPro (or two) and/or some 168pin 5v DIMM (B)EDO
ram that they would let me fiddle with at one HUMBUG, with the possible
view to purchase should it all work properly?
