TomsHardware provides some pretty thorough reviews, they had some video
at one stage of cpu's cooking themselves after the cooling fans were
removed to demonstrate a certain brands ability to avoid self
destruction when cooling was inadequate. As an Engineer I like failsafe
systems. ie: the whizbang ultra refridgeration cooled CPU might be
faster, but if it self destructs when cooling shuts down it's much slower.
