Yeah but we know so much more about how to use our equipment...lol


Tony, there is a useful book if you can get it (well most basic Linux books
have sections on both Vi and emacs) but the O'Reilly BASH Shell book has
sections on both emacs and Vi and also on using the shell which I am sure
will be a welcome revelation to you. Also there is a BASH scripting
website....lots of this stuff can be found on-line. For really quick
reference to there is an O'Reilly book called Unix in a Nutshell which
covers lots of stuff.
