I hereby publically disclaim all association with the abhorrency that
is "ae", and further note that the forthcoming bootdisks will have
nano instead.

(ae has unfortunate tendencies to not have its keymap work correctly,
or to not actually let you save or quit when it's trying to pretend to
be vi.  For system recovery? Give me `echo' and shell redirection over
ae any day. Heck, give me dd and /dev/random.)

(the forthcoming bootdisks also have a cut down version of sed, from
busybox.  Obviously busybox should also have a cut down version of ed...)
