Actually, NTFS varies between NT4 and Win2k, so if there is a difference
between the 2k and XP versions of NTFS, there are now 3 (at least) "flavours".

Agree with most of this. Some of our customers are purchasing new machines
with XP preinstalled and are getting a little annoyed when they have to go
back to their suppliers and get Win2k installed. In some cases, this is even
after we advised them that we only support the NT4 & 2000 versions of
Windows.
Don't let anyone tell you "if it runs on Win2k, it will run on XP". This may
be true in some cases, but it is certainly not true in all cases.
