PHP is working fine at the Uni of Wollonong (I'm UoW ITS staff now, for
those who are wondering, and finishing my degree on the side). I used it
the other day for an assignment. The guy who installs it said he had no
problem. Why don't you try a script that actually does some drawing and
see what it does?
