Greetings all

I just upgraded from RH 7.0 to 7.1 last night, and to my surprise during reboot KUDZU kindly informed me that  my modem had been removed.

I was then presented with three options
	1; remove the device
	2; keep current settings
	3; ignore this warning and continue
or words to that effect.

I chose the second option and later attempted to reconfigure ppp using RhPPP.  The modem was not detected, no  surprises there
.
I have read that with kernel 2.4.x that it is best to enable PnP in the BIOS. So I rebooted, changed the  setting etc. and still no luck.

Any suggestions?
