[ Worthwhile understanding: http://www.humbug.org.au/netiquette.html ]
I have a friend who is trying to install Redhat 7.1. He wrote me with
following:
It gets to the part where it wants to set up all the partitions. The
problem
is I have 5-6 gigs of unpartitioned space on a 30 gig drive, but the
drive
information on the screen only reports an 8 gig drive total.. it reports
the
used space correctly, but then the available space is listed as
somewhere around -16 gigs, which is why it won't let me continue.. No
matter how small I make the boot partition it says it's too big because
it thinks there is negative space on the drive..
Anyone know what's going on?
Thanks, Matt
