Matt, please include the error messages from the compiler. The error messages
from make are pretty useless without gcc's also. The previous 20 or so lines should
be sufficient.
Not "make dep" or "make depend" rather than "dep" ??
If you're getting redefinitions then I'm surprised - there will be something else
that's at issue here too.
