[H-GEN] commercial hosting - exodus alternatives?

I've used rackspace.com. They seem OK but are not cheap. They have some 
kind of expensive exit fee.  It's was about AUD$400 / mo for a RedHad box 
and one IP address. Also I've heard some uncomplimentary things said 
about them 12mo ago. There may some thing better out there.
