After going around in circles somewhat this afternoon, I still can't get
past the password dialog in the Windows 98 network neighbourhood.
I can still access the RH6.1 machine. IIRC, it uses the windows logon
user name & password. I can Telnet from the new machine to the old
one but get a "connection refused" error the other way around. Arghhh.
I have used the same samba.conf settings as the RH6.1 machine and
the user names & passwords are the same on both. Is there another
file that influences the passwords? I may have to admit defeat & hire
someone to come in and get me over this hurdle. :-(
Regards...
