Hmmm... I just checked the firewall rules in gnome and there are none!
I had forgotten that I had set the security level to "high" at installation.
Adding an "accept all" rule seems to get it working to the point where
Windows is asking for a password. It's not accepting the ones I'm giving
it so I will checked the settings for that again. One I get that sorted I will
have to read up on firewall rules again & make some real ones. :-)
One odd thing is that Linuxconf doesn't show Apache or Samba in the
"server tasks" section like my old RH6.1 box does. Any idea's ?
However, it does say that Samba is running and in automatic mode.
Geeze, after concentrating on PIC assembler, Delphi & other stuff for a
while now, I've forgotten a lot of what I did with Linux last year. Oh well.
Regards...
