Probably not. I would say that is a reason why he did suggested it.
He said it when everyone was disscussing the location of the next one and 
they did that straw poll, Maddog at the end yelled out 'what about Brisbane 
in winter'. Sydney was quite hot on some of the days we were there so 
possibly Maddog thought Brisbane in summer would be too much and therefore 
suggested winter. Who knows.
