Good morning,
Naturally everyone decided to leave registering to the last minute.
Of course the bank choose this particular week to perform upgrades
and other things. Unsurprisingly not everything went to their plan.
They have had running failures since Tuesday of this week with two
outages greater than 12 hour outages. [*]
I won't be applying the late fee until Monday morning (8th) so this
is your last day to register at these prices.
I've processed all registrations received by post as of 5th Jan as
well as all faxes received till now. If you have not received an
email from me yet you can safely assume I have not received your
details.
If you sent in your registration, it may be in the post and so long
as it is postmarked before the 8th it will be processed at the normal
price.
If you have registered online you should have a receipt which
confirms your registration. You'll know when your registration
time is up because all the tickets will include a late fee.
If the bank's system fail again we will still be applying the
late fee regardless. If it does fail, your best bet is to send in
a fax. I know, paper - ugh. But it doesn't seem as prone to errors
as the Commonwealth Bank.
Thanks,
Anand
[*] All from a faulty hard disk. Amazing.
