In the earlier AWT I dont think there is even a radio button option. You
can use radio buttons using Swing but I dont think many browsers
actually handle Swing or later versions of Java...very few accept Java 2
(SDK 1.3) without the Sun plug-in.
I thought there might be a container that allowed the grouping of radio
buttons automatically but I think that there is no such a beast and,
even if you use Forte to create a container with radio buttons, you
actually have to go into the post-creation and post-initialisation code
and group them together manually.
Well you can use a group of checkboxes yes but you still need to go into
the code and group them manually.
You have probably seen the later post where I actually answered my own
query...the information there came from the netbeans.com knowledge base.
The fact that the answer was on the knowledge base would indicate that
others have been baffled by this as well. I have been using Forte 1.0
and I see that there is a Forte 2.0 out now so maybe there is extra
functionality in the new version.
