The idea is that having nominations in advance stops the 'takeover'
problem. But I accept your point about this being counter club culture.

Ok. I can accept the 3 month rule for this reason. As an anti-staking rule
it is poxy.
In any event, the main thing is to move the quorum to be three times the
executive plus 1, or 50% of eligible members whichever is the lesser.
