one easy way round stacking which was used in another group of which i was a
member
was to alow registered voters/members to submit votes by proxy (ie. posted
votes).
This gave everybody a chance to vote and left no reason for people to
complain....the
only catch was that instead of nominating people on the night we had to get
a tad more
organised and nominate a month or so in advance.
