It'd be interesting to see how much of a load adding cgi etc has on a
system.  i've never actually watched a heavily loaded system ( except
doughnut's college search page ) on an intel machine  ( web wise anyway ) 

Doughnut used to get loads of over 40 or so in peak times with the college
search page... but that was dishing out gigs and gigs over a 100Mbps link.

Our case study here has a gigabit link and numerous CGI/database
connections
