It should be a drop-in replacement: the command-line flags are a superset.
Honestly, try taking 15 minutes to install it and compile your sourcebase.
If it works you'll save lots of time in the future; if it doesn't you
haven't lost much.

Well, on the other hand (unlike javac) jikes is under a genuine Open
Source license; so just put that bigot-hat on instead. :)
