Both BIOS and linux recognise the CDROM drive and assign it to /dev/hdb on
bootup. Just when I try and mount the CDROM the light on the CDROM comes
on and it sounds like it is trying to spin but doesn't go anywhere.
The other thing with it is that I normally have to wait for about 10
seconds or so after the drive closes before I attempt to mount it,
otherwise it gives me an error message saying "drive open"
