[H-GEN] Anyone familiar with slashcode?

Hi all,
   I am trying to run the slashcode to provide a disscussion board for a
lecturer in the UQ psych dept. After sorting out my initial problems
with my apache setup I am now getting 403 errors on the slashcode .pl
files, I find this odd seeing as how the files are all 0775 and owned
slash:slash. Does anyone know what some possible causes could be? I also
do not want to run the slashcode as the main site page, merely as a
discussion board under and existing directory structure - is it possible
to, once I have the site setup and tested simply copy the files from the
/home/slash/public_html dir and then update the apache conf? or is it
best to use a symlink to do this?
