Hi All,

I hope this is appropriate for this list.

I work with The Office of State Revenue (Queensland Treasury) in the Unix
and Database Support Group.  We currently have a vacant position for a Unix
System and Database Administrator.  Good Unix skills are required and
database experience preferred.  Pay is in the range of ~$45K - ~$50K.  A
degree (or other piece of paper) isn't required.

We are currently running 11 HP-UX machines, but also have a Sun box and a
couple of DEC's.  Also, our main RDBMS is Ingres but also use Informix and
there is a project underway to convert our systems to Oracle.

If you are interested then the placement firms Candle and Bowdens have the
selection criteria.

If you are interested but don't have database experience then I would
suggest that you put in an application anyway.  If you have any questions
