howdy,
I will just say that,
The bootloader files in win2k (Ntldr, Ntdetect.com,
Ntbootdd.sys. boot.ini ) are exactly NT4.

The only thing to be aware of when dual booting 2k and NT is to service pack NT
to pack 4 or greater as updated NTFS is required. But that has nothing  to do
with Linux/Unix or anything worth while.
