Hi all,

Please pardon the unsolicited job announcement, but I'm only sending
this to 2 lists - both of which seem to have a policy of accepting
job posts.

Plugged In Software (http://www.PIsoftware.com/) has two immediate
openings for Java programmers.  Here's the requirement:

Experience:  One position requires at least 1 year of OO (preferably
             Java or Smalltalk) experience, the other requires more
             (preferably lots more).

             Comfort with Unix environments and tools is a must.
             Linux/Solaris expertise highly regarded.

             RDBMS experience would be nice, but is not required.

             Candidates should be familiar with at least one of the
             popular Java IDEs for Unix (vi or emacs :)

             Willingness to travel infrequently to the US for
             training and design sessions highly regarded.

Availability:  Interviewing now to start within the next 6 weeks.

Type of Work:  Projects will involve either funded Open Source(TM)
               work on Plugged In's Java code generator for the
               Enhydra Application Server (see http://www.enhydra.org),
               open protocol implementations in Java (e.g. SNMP)
               or proprietary code development for US customers
               (e.g. Java middleware project).
