hi,

we have a client with a 128k ISDN link which they're using to access
a Citrix Metaframe box. the users on the remote network are complaining
bitterly that they get intermittent periods of slow response.
the server is fine so the next thing to test would be the link.

the company which looks after the link seems to be rather clue resistant
and just giving me a capture file from a win32 packet sniffer recorded
   when the network _isn't_ slow

the router supposedly supports SNMP but aforementioned support company
wants to charge $5000 for some software to use it. (yes that is 3 zeroes)

they've got a linux box onsite and I'd love to use it to provide some sort
of usage stat's for the link

   anyone done this before?

thanks,
