actualy... kerberos support under linux is very good. try the ebones
distribution (kerberos V4) ( url from you local friendly search engine
). or you can suck down the kerberos 5 rpm's from
your.local.friendly.redhat.mirror.
on the other hand... I would have though nis+ was pretty poor under
linux. *shrug*
nis vs nis+ is alot simpler to setup on the server side as an aside and
*is* supported by linux fairly well ( if not a little borked )
