You should *absolutely* go if you're seriously interested in free
software or would like to work in it.  Really.

 * The technical content will be first rate: several wizards from the
   Linux kernel and other key projects will be there.  There'll be
   some surprise appearances from overseas.

 * These people know how to party!  Don't count on getting much
   sleep.  

 * Being around people deeply into this stuff is the perfect way to
   find inspiration and real understanding.

 * Networking's not just Fast Ethernet: this will be a great place to
   meet people who might be employers or customers in the future.

 * It's concurrent with the PC-IT expo, so you can look at general
   hardware and software when you want a change.
