I saw a discussion of this recently on the OpenBSD mailing lists. Theo
basically shot down the people who advocated turning off nearly all
services under OpenBSD as the default install.
And he carried this across to other systems as well. If the security
holes weren't there in the first place, you wouldn't have to shut them
down now would you?
And after all, Theo knows all.
