Hi Chris,

I am just asking why your freinds computer cannot repartition?

I have an IBM Thinkpad Laptop and through Partition Magic 4.0 & 5.0,
Mandrake's Disk Druid, Fdisk and other Linux & Unix Partitioning
programs; I have repartitioned my computer over 50 times.

I would suggest you get a trial of Partition Magic 5.0
(www.powerquest.com) and try to create a ext2 partition, it won't hurt.

Cheers

Simon
