Wait a minute. You've got it wrong. It's not 15 years. These shows
always show the cases wrapped up in a few days or weeks [1] at most.
So, given that our trusted knowledge source is from these TV shows,
we should have events sorted out soon, but there's got to be a dramatic
twist or two with appropriate background music.
TV doesn't lie, does it?
A little more seriously: as you say, MS will appeal and drag things
out for as long as they can. When the writing is finally on the wall,
I suspect Billy-boy will do 'something' to the company himself that
will fix the problems perceived by the government. I think it will
be important to him that he initiates the fix, not the government or
courts.
[1] Or max 1 hour 'real-time' given decent compression of events.
